Getting Started

What Scribble Is

Scribble is a handwriting practice app for children learning cursive on iPad. Here is what it does, who it is for, and how long it takes.

Scribble brings handwriting and learning science together in one iPad app. Our first course teaches Cursive: strokes, letters and joins, followed by words and sentences.

Core instruction builds legible letter formation and recall from memory. Ongoing practice helps children write with growing ease. Plan for 15–30 minutes a day, adjusting for your child and taking breaks when needed.

Each child’s Scribble subscription is $1,000 billed annually ($83.33/month equivalent) or $100 billed monthly, plus applicable tax. Annual billing collects the full annual amount, not monthly installments. Eligible students receive a 14-day trial, at most once per student; subscriptions renew until canceled. Our Handwriting Mastery Guarantee covers the named student’s own subscription payments for the qualifying year. Complete core instruction within six months and at least six months of fluency practice, practicing on four days in at least 20 weeks of each six-month phase. If your child still cannot produce every lowercase and uppercase letter of one script legibly and automatically from memory, contact us within 60 days after the qualifying year. One refund per student subscription, after prior credits and refunds, subject to review. Terms apply.

Parents add a child through Checkout on the website, then finish or edit that same profile in the dashboard or on iPad. Required equipment is purchased separately.
