Billing and Renewal

Each child’s Scribble subscription is $1,000 billed annually ($83.33/month equivalent) or $100 billed monthly, plus applicable tax. Annual billing collects the full annual amount, not monthly installments. Eligible students receive a 14-day trial, at most once per student; subscriptions renew until canceled.

Trial and cancellation

Billing & access shows each child’s current price, trial deadline, next payment and any scheduled ending date. Choose Manage trial or Manage subscription to open Stripe, identify the child by the first name shown on their subscription, and review and confirm changes there. Cancel before the trial deadline to avoid the first charge. After payment, cancellation preserves access through the paid term. You can also turn renewal back on in Stripe before the subscription ends.

Stripe controls the wording on its pages. It may say Cancel subscription, Don’t cancel subscription or Renew subscription. Review the price and dates shown before confirming. Each child’s subscription is separate.

Existing paid purchases keep their original end date without a new trial or immediate charge. Existing annual trials keep the original trial deadline and $1,000 first charge, with renewal initially off. You can choose monthly through Manage trial in Stripe: the trial deadline stays the same and the first payment becomes $100. A scheduled ending date remains unless you change renewal. Monthly payments may continue before that ending date.

After a subscription has ended, start a new subscription for the same child without another trial.

Profiles, reports and learning history remain available after access ends. Ending access does not delete a child’s data or transfer their subscription. Contact support@scribble.app for child-data deletion. Restarting a subscription uses the same profile and does not repeat an introductory trial.

Payment details and invoices

Choose Settings → Billing & access → Manage billing to open Stripe’s secure customer portal. Update the shared Family payment method and view invoices there. You do not need a Stripe business account. Checkout supports cards, Link and supported wallets.

Stripe handles subscription changes, confirmation, payment credentials, collection and invoices. Scribble shows the verified billing terms and manages child profiles and learning access.

Trial-end and renewal payment failures do not extend access. Update your payment method to resolve payment failures. Returning students do not receive another trial, and their new paid access starts after confirmed payment. Choose monthly or annual billing in Stripe. Changes during the trial preserve its deadline; paid-term changes may include prorated charges or credits shown by Stripe before confirmation.

Handwriting Mastery Guarantee

Our Handwriting Mastery Guarantee covers the named student’s own subscription payments for the qualifying year. Complete core instruction within six months and at least six months of fluency practice, practicing on four days in at least 20 weeks of each six-month phase. If your child still cannot produce every lowercase and uppercase letter of one script legibly and automatically from memory, contact us within 60 days after the qualifying year. One refund per student subscription, after prior credits and refunds, subject to review. Terms apply.

Previously accepted extension guarantees remain honored. An approved extension continues independently of paid renewal and never automatically becomes paid. Existing prepaid purchases retain their original dates and terms; contact support for manual refund requests within fourteen days of the original payment.

Included courses and custom pricing

Subscription includes Cursive today, Print Handwriting early access planned for January 2027, and future writing courses as they launch. Courses are included while subscription is active; this is not a lifetime price lock.
