Troubleshooting
Requesting a Refund
Cancel a trial or contact support about a payment correction.
Cancel a child’s subscription
Open Settings → Billing & access and choose Manage trial or Manage subscription, then review and confirm in Stripe. Choose the child whose subscription you want to cancel. Other children’s subscriptions continue. Cancel before the displayed trial deadline to pay nothing. Trial or paid access continues through its existing end date.
Stripe records the change, and Scribble refreshes its billing status when you return. Before the subscription ends, you can turn renewal back on in Stripe. A failed page load alone does not confirm cancellation; reopen Stripe to check the subscription.
After a charge
Student subscriptions renew monthly or annually until canceled. Stopping renewal does not ordinarily refund the current paid period. Contact support@scribble.app for duplicate or incorrect charges, exceptional circumstances or rights under applicable law.
The Handwriting Mastery Guarantee provides an eligible subscription-year refund after the qualifying 12-month program and review. Contact us within 60 days after the qualifying year; see the guarantee requirements. Settled periods covered by credits still count toward coverage, but refunds return only eligible amounts actually paid, after prior credits and refunds.
Previously accepted prepaid purchases retain their original finite dates, refund rights and extension guarantees. They do not renew automatically unless you explicitly choose to renew. Contact support within fourteen days of the original prepaid payment for a manual refund request under those terms.
Refunds use the original payment method where supported. Your bank determines when returned funds appear. Profiles and learning history remain visible after access ends. Request child-data deletion through support separately from cancellation or a refund.
